1996 Bachelor Sciences Physical Therapy, McGill University, Montreal, QC

1997 Successfully completed the Canadian Physiotherapy Exam allowing to work as a physiotherapist anywhere in Canada.

1998 Completed mandatory post graduated training to treat women’s pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary incontinence.

1999 6-month mentorship in pelvic floor rehabilitation with Sonja Bray, an experienced physiotherapist based in Calgary, AB.
Since then, she focuses her practice on the treatment of pelvic floor function.

2001 Fafard Physiotherapy was founded and offers private one-on-one physiotherapy session for the treatment of pelvic floor function,
myofascial pain syndrome, preparation to delivery and recovery post partum.

2001-2007  Organized workshops in Calgary with Dr. Bernadette de Gasquet.

 

2003-2005 Physiotherapist at the Pelvic Floor Clinic for Alberta Health Services, Calgary

 

2004-2007 Has attended births as a doula

 

2007 Peri-natal educator for Alberta Health Services at the Canmore hospital
